Valeo OE Parking Sensors Now Available In The Aftermarket

This release features 11 OE sensors offering coverage for more than 3 million vehicles on the road today.

Valeo - LogoValeo Service USA and Canada has announced the release of its parking sensors to the aftermarket.

This release features 11 OE sensors offering coverage for more than 3 million vehicles on the road today. The offering introduces Valeo’s patented internal software technologies to the aftermarket, providing the reliability and performance expected from an OE supplier, Valeo says.

According to Valeo, other advantages of the OE parking sensors include:

  • Easy installation: Plug-and-play technology offers a two-minute replacement time (after bumper is removed)
  • Simple integration: Each part number includes a paintable sensor and 3 decoupling rings (grey, black and transparent) to seamlessly match the color of the vehicle
  • Quality: All products undergo stringent quality tests to ensure exceptional quality, performance and durability

“The technician and vehicle owner can be assured the Valeo product meets the same specs as the OE, because it is OE,” said Beth Skove, director of marketing. “Frequently, adaptable products do not meet the same specifications as the OE and therefore do not perform as well.  They may have a smaller range of view, or not perform in low-temperature weather. When it comes to a safety part, you want the added reliability and comfort of knowing it is OE.”
