From Tire Review
In two separate actions, both Dynamic Tire Corp. and Vogue Tyre & Rubber Co. have issued recalls on certain products.
Dynamic is recalling certain China-made Sailun S825 radial truck tires in size 385/65R22.5, which were produced between March and April 2012. The recall is due to an inner liner issue that could lead to sidewall separation. Approximately 44 tires are involved, NHTSA said.
Vogue is calling back certain China-made Sailun-produced Vogue Custom Built tires in size 225/50R17, and Signature V tires in sizes 225/50R17, 235/50R18 and 245/45R18. Tire Review had previously reported that the tires were produced by Goodyear, Vogue’s long-time manufacturing partner.
The tires were produced between Jan. 1 and Aug. 11, 2012. According to NHTSA, the recall is because the tires do not “have the full tire identification number (TIN) branded on the tire’s outboard sidewall.” There is nothing mechanically wrong with the 701 tires otherwise.
