MIDLAND, Mich. The University of the Aftermarket will present its “Aftermarket 101” program May 29-30, 2013, at Federal-Mogul headquarters in Southfield, Mich. The program, open to new employees in the automotive or heavy-duty aftermarket, was designed to provide a better understanding of the aftermarket, its structure and trends.
This annual program is offered in partnership with the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association, and is specifically created to define and demystify the industry for new aftermarket hires. Typically, attendees have less than one year in the industry, and represent a diverse range of job functions and companies. During the day-and-a-half program, participants will be exposed to key information about the aftermarket, its history, scope, market channels, customers and trends.
