UCX Calipers was started 20 years ago by Dave Wright, Paul Schuck, Rob Wright and three employees in an 18,000-square-foot building. Their goal was to provide a professional-grade remanufactured disc brake caliper specifically designed for the professional technician.

Today, UCX Calipers has grown to 100 dedicated employees in facilities totaling 100,000 square feet. The company’s focus remains on the professional technician and UCX sells exclusively to the warehouse distributors that comprise the traditional aftermarket.

UCX has customers in 48 states and six Canadian provinces and is a leader in providing differentiation through private brand programs to warehouse distributors serving the Do-It-For-Me (DIFM) market.

Dave Wright, Paul Schuck and Rob Wright continue to own and operate UCX Calipers in Cleveland.

“The traditional aftermarket is still a people-to-people business,” said Rob Wright. “The majority of our customers have been with us for a long time and have become friends as well as business partners.  We want to thank them and our great employees for their support these past 20 years.”
