Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. Names Roy Bromfield As Chief Operating Officer

Bromfield's experience includes more than 20 years with Michelin, where he served in various domestic and international marketing and sales capacities, including as vice president of North American marketing and sales.

CYPRESS, Calif. – Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. (TTC) has hired Roy Bromfield as chief operating officer (COO). He will work in collaboration with Tatsuo Mitsuhata, president and CEO of TTC, to develop and oversee strategies for sales, product development and all elements of the marketing mix. All departments, including sales, price management, marketing and product planning/technical services will report directly to Bromfield.

Corp.,” said Mitsuhata. “He has extensive experience working in the tire industry, with excellent operational knowledge and management capability that fit well with our company. He is a strong strategic marketer, has a history of launching innovations and growing businesses, and a great passion for working with tire dealers as long-term business partners.”

Bromfield’s experience includes more than 20 years with Michelin, where he served in various domestic and international marketing and sales capacities, including as vice president of North American marketing and sales. He ultimately served as CEO and president of Tire Centers LLC (TCI), a unit of Michelin. In 2006, Bromfield joined Q Tires Inc. as its CEO and president. He was responsible for building the organization to market a patented, deployable “studs on Q” all-weather tire technology.
 
Bromfield is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a bachelor of science degree in engineering. He went on to receive an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta.
