Timken And HDA Truck Pride Sponsor Winters Racing For 2015

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. – Doug Winters and Winters Racing announced today that The Timken Co. andHDA Truck Pride will support the team as associate sponsors for the 2015 NHRA Pro Modified season.

“We are definitely thrilled to work with Timken and HDA Truck Pride,” said Winters. “Our association with Meritor and Truck Supply Co. of South Carolina has helped introduce us to great companies and organizations like these.  It is an honor for us and for the entire team to have their backing during 2015. We look forward to their sponsorship at all our events.

“We have always used Timken bearings in our racing operations.  And now to be able to acknowledge their products is a great feeling,” added Winters.

The Timken Company serves many diverse market segments, including aerospace, automotive, construction, consumer, defense, energy, industrial equipment, health, heavy industry, machine tool, positioning control, power generation and rail.

Along with The Timken Co., HDA Truck Pride will help underwrite the Winters Racing team. HDA Truck Pride provides an alternative to the traditional commercial vehicle industry. Its focus is commercial vehicles — light-, medium- and heavy-duty — all makes and all models. They are a network of independent distributors and service shops tied together with one common theme — to service the customer’s needs.

“It is definitely great to have HDA Truck Pride on our team. They are an integral part in bringing products and services to the commercial trucking industry. With their significant footprint of distribution and service centers, we will be able to help market them wherever we compete,” said Winters.

Doug and Winters Racing will participate in NHRA and other Pro Modified events across the United States in 2015. The season starts March 12 in Gainesville, Fla., with the NHRA Gator Nationals.
