FRANKFURT — ThyssenKrupp AG hopes to sell its U.S. automotive operations, ThyssenKrupp Budd Co., in the next few months and is in talks with several "industrial partners" over the business, German daily Die Welt reported, citing company sources.
The newspaper cited a source as saying: "We hope that we will do business with one of the interested parties within the next few months."
Die Welt said one possible interested party is Canadian car parts maker Magna International Inc.
