The ‘Tenneco Experience’ Product And Technology Exhibit To Debut At AAPEX

The custom trailer features hands-on exhibits of OE Clean Air and Ride Performance technologies, as well as leading Monroe and Walker aftermarket products.

tenneco-experience-exhibitTenneco will introduce its “Tenneco Experience” mobile product and technology exhibit to the vast audience of automotive parts and service professionals who attend next week’s AAPEX 2016 in Las Vegas. The custom-designed, 53-foot trailer features an array of hands-on exhibits covering Tenneco’s leading Clean Air and Ride Performance OE technologies for global vehicle manufacturers, as well as a full complement of the latest Monroe ride control and Walker emissions control products for the North American aftermarket.

The trailer can be seen in the company’s AAPEX booth No. 1025 on the main floor of the Sands Expo Center.

“The key to success in the aftermarket is being able to provide OE-style solutions developed through extensive insight to the operating demands of each new generation of vehicles,” said Jeff Koviak, vice president and general manager, North America Aftermarket, Tenneco. “The ‘Tenneco Experience’ demonstrates the extraordinary value of our OE expertise in both the Clean Air and Ride Performance categories. Many of our latest OE solutions will ultimately appear in automotive service bays as those vehicles enter the aftermarket replacement cycle.”

Among the OE technologies on display in the “Tenneco Experience” trailer will be complete emissions control systems for automotive gasoline and diesel engines. Highlighted within these systems are Tenneco’s manifold-mounted catalytic converters; air gap pipe; XNOx Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system; three-way catalyst; diesel particulate filter; and electronically controlled valves, which support low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) for diesel engines and acoustic tuning for gasoline engines.

Also featured in the trailer will be several Walker emissions control products for the aftermarket, including a complete replacement exhaust system; CalCat CARB-certified manifold converter; Ultra EPA-certified direct-fit converter; and Quiet-Flow SS stainless steel direct-fit muffler assembly.

OE Ride Performance technologies that can be seen in the trailer will include Tenneco’s Monroe Intelligent Suspension portfolio, which comprises adaptive, semi-active and active suspension solutions and serves all vehicle segments.

Monroe ride control products for the aftermarket – including premium Monroe Quick-Strut strut assemblies and OESpectrum and Reflex shocks and struts – also will be highlighted. Tenneco representatives will be on hand to provide information about each of the exhibits.

In addition to the AAPEX show, the “Tenneco Experience” trailer in the coming months will visit several of the company’s North American OE and aftermarket customers and participate in a variety of leading industry events.
