Kahut began his career with CARQUEST in November 1986 as an account executive in Lakeville, Minn.

Our Executive Interview with Lucia Veiga Moretti, president of Delphi Product & Service Solutions (DPSS), was also among our most-read items of the week on AMN. IAP’s eStore and integration to more than 30 shop management systems provides automotive service professionals who purchase from O’Reilly with the tools needed to do eCommerce with O’Reilly.

Last in our round-up of the week’s top news, Johnson Controls has announced that it will implement an 8 percent price increase on lead-acid batteries sold in the U.S. and Canada for orders starting May 1. The price hike comes as a result of increasing environmental, health and safety standards and the investments required to support them, Johnson Controls says.
