Tenneco Increases Replacement Strut Offering With 24 New Monroe Quick-Strut Part Numbers

Since 2018 began, the product line expansions have extended the company’s coverage to more than 20 million additional passenger vehicles across North America.

Since 2018 began, Tenneco has expanded its Monroe Quick-Strut line of premium replacement strut assemblies by 204 part numbers, extending coverage to more than 20 million additional passenger vehicles across North America. Most recently, the company added 24 part numbers, including 14 that offer exclusive coverage for 13 domestic and 44 import applications.

“Shocks and struts work to keep a vehicle’s tires in contact with the road, helping the driver to maintain consistent handling and braking as well as limiting excessive vehicle body movement. Replacing worn struts helps to restore the vehicle to OE ride quality and performance as well as reduce premature wear of other suspension components,” said Adam Richardson, senior product manager, Tenneco North America Aftermarket. “By continuing to increase Monroe Quick-Strut coverage, we are providing our automotive service partners the opportunity to extend like-new ride quality and performance to more of their customers.”

Assembled in Tenneco’s North America Aftermarket ride control facility in Paragould, Arkansas, Monroe Quick-Strut assemblies are fully application-tested to ensure OE-like performance and feature all of the high-quality components necessary for a complete strut replacement. Exclusive coverage offered by the latest line expansion extends to the following applications:

  • 2011-’16 Dodge Journey (Rear)
  • 2011 Jeep Compass (Rear)
  • 2011-’17 Jeep Patriot (Front)
  • 1999-2002 Kia Sportage (Front)
  • 2008-’10 Mitsubishi Lancer (Rear)
  • 2011-’14 Scion xD (Front)
  • 2014-’16 Toyota Corolla (Rear)

Beyond the additional Quick-Strut part numbers, Tenneco expanded its Monroe OESpectrum range of premium replacement struts, adding four part numbers covering 2016 Chevrolet Cruze and 2013-’14 Hyundai Sante Fe applications. The company also added OESpectrum rear shocks for 2008-’12 Infiniti EX35 models and two new Monroe Strut-Mate mounting kits covering 2012-’14 Hyundai Accent and several late-model Kia Forte applications.
