PALM BEACH GARDENS , Fla. — In conjunction with its recent restructuring, TBC Retail Group has announced a number of staff promotions. The changes include staff promotions at TBC, Tire Kingdom , NTB, Merchants, Big O Tires, Private Brands, Treadways and Carroll Tires.
Orland Wolford, president and CEO TBC Retail Group, commented, “In conjunction with our recent restructuring, I wanted to keep you advised of the following organizational announcements, which are effective immediately. These restructuring initiatives have consolidated our company’s operational functions to provide the TBC Retail Group with one support organization across all retail brands, improving efficiencies and helping us to focus on driving sales and profitability.”
The following individuals have new areas of responsibility as announced:
Bill Ihnken , EVP and chief operating officer of TBC Retail Stores Group and Kevin Kormondy, EVP and chief operating officer of Big O Tires will continue to report directly to Wolford.
New assignments and promotions of the following executives, who will continue to report directly to Wolford and provide service and support to Ihnken and Kormondy follow.
Greg Dieffenbach joins TBC Retail Group as vice president of human resources. Dieffenbach joins TBC with more than 30 years HR experience in the retail industry.
Mike Kinnen, vice president franchise finance for Big O Tires has been promoted to vice president operations. Kinnen joined Big O Tires in March 2008 with more than 25 years experience in the banking, restaurant and franchise industries.
Bob Crostarosa , vice president of marketing for Tire Kingdom has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing for TBC Retail Group. Crostarosa joined Tire Kingdom in November 2001 and has held a variety of management positions in training and marketing. Crostarosa has more than 30 years experience in the automotive/tire industry.
Charlie Zacharias, v ice president of real estate and distribution for Tire Kingdom has been promoted to senior vice president real estate and distribution for TBC Retail Group. Zacharias joined Tire Kingdom in June 1993 and has held a variety of management positions in purchasing, distribution, facilities and real estate. He has more than 30 years experience in the retail and consumer brands industries.
James Rowe, vice president purchasing/inventory control for Tire Kingdom has been promoted to senior vice president purchasing/inventory control for TBC Retail Group. Rowe joined Tire Kingdom in February 1992 and has held a variety of management positions in field operations, merchandising and purchasing. Rowe has more than 25 years experience in the automotive/tire industry.
Dave Moyer, vice president consumer affairs and regulatory compliance for Tire Kingdom has been promoted to senior vice president consumer affairs and regulatory compliance for TBC Retail Group. Moyer joined Tire Kingdom in November 2000 and has held a variety of management positions in retail operations, training and human resources. Moyer has more than 30 years experience in the automotive/tire industry.
Lynn Parker, vice president of purchasing Non-Tire P rod ucts for Tire Kingdom has been promoted to senior vice president purchasing non-tire p rod ucts for TBC Retail Group. Parker joined Tire Kingdom in October 2003 as vice president purchasing and has more than 30 years experience in the automotive aftermarket industry.
Greg Ortega , vice president of retail marketing and merchandising for Tire Kingdom has been promoted to vice president retail marketing and merchandising for TBC Retail Group. Ortega joined Big O Tires in March 1996 and has held a variety of management positions in field operations, marketing, purchasing and p rod uct planning.
Frank Setteducate, director financial planning and analysis for Tire Kingdom has been promoted to senior director financial planning and analysis for TBC Retail Group. Setteducate joined Tire Kingdom in November 1995 and has held a variety of management positions in Finance. He has more than 30 years experience in finance in the automotive/tire and aircraft industries.
Pati Pressler, director of leadership, excellence and learning for Tire Kingdom has been promoted to director of training and organizational development for TBC Retail Group. Pressler has more than 25 years of HR and organizational development experience in consulting and coaching in a variety of industries.
