STEMCO Acquires V.W. Kaiser Engineering

STEMCO, an EnPro Industries company, has acquired V.W. Kaiser Engineering in Millington, MI. Kaiser is a privately held company with 30 years experience of testing and manufacturing quality long life pins and bushings for king pin and suspension applications. Todd Anderson of STEMCO has been appointed vice president/general manager of the STEMCOKaiser facility. Anderson has been with STEMCO since 1994 and has been a key contributor in both engineering and operations, having served most recently as vice president, operations for STEMCO.

LONGVIEW, TX – STEMCO, an EnPro Industries company, has acquired V.W. Kaiser Engineering in Millington, MI. Kaiser is a privately-held company with 30 years of experience testing and manufacturing quality long-life pins and bushings for kingpin and suspension applications.

According to STEMCO, the transaction represents combined synergies between the two companies in their commercial vehicle market focus, product technology and reputations for training and customer support.

“The acquisition of Kaiser Engineering provides an opportunity to broaden the STEMCO product offering as well as an opportunity to expand the Kaiser product offering outside of the United States,” said Jon Cox, STEMCO president. “We’re delighted to welcome the employees of Kaiser Engineering to the STEMCO family and look forward to an exciting period of growth in our combined markets.”

Kaiser headquarters and manufacturing facility in Millington, MI, will remain in place.

Todd Anderson of STEMCO has been appointed vice president/general manager of the STEMCOKaiser facility. Anderson has been with STEMCO since 1994 and has been a key contributor in both engineering and operations, having served most recently as vice president, operations for STEMCO.

“Anderson has provided technical leadership in STEMCO’S product innovation strategy and he has contributed greatly to our success in new product development,” said Jon Cox, STEMCO president. “We are fortunate to have him lead the STEMCO-Kaiser operation and wish him well in this new position.”

Anderson is active in Society of Automotive Engineers and The Maintenance Council. He has authored several technical articles that have been published in trade magazines, bringing favorable recognition to STEMCO as an industry leader in wheel-end sealing systems. He holds a BSME degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.

Anderson will have general management responsibility for the Kaiser business facility located in Millington. He will continue to report to Cox.
