Coolants Plus Inc., the parent company of STARFIRE lubricants, antifreeze and chemicals, has been named a marketing member of the Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association (ILMA). Membership in the national organization is limited to leading providers of lubricants and reflects the rapid growth of the company and its STARFIRE brand.
“This is an important sign of our emergence as an important player in the industry,” said Kurt Deimer, president and CEO of Coolants Plus. “ILMA only accepts the most reputable companies in the business to become members.”
The ILMA includes blenders, manufacturers and marketers at the highest level of the industry. For more than 70 years, the organization has been the voice of member companies that produce more than a quarter of the nation’s lubricants and three-quarters of its metalworking fluids.
“Our membership in ILMA demonstrates our commitment to the industry and our customers and distributor network – they are what really drive our growth,” said Darrin Ward, chief operating officer. “When we support their growth, they drive ours.”
