General Motors (GM) has named Stant Corp. as a GM Customer Care and Aftersales On-Time Shipping Award recipient.
The Stant manufacturing facility in Romeoville, Illinois, which produces evaporative emissions canisters and front end carriers, achieved platinum level award status for shipping excellence from GM. The Pine Bluff, Arkansas, plant, which manufacturers Stant fuel closures, valves, thermostats and filler pipes, was recognized with gold level award status for outstanding shipping performance.

Receiving our products in a timely fashion is paramount to the success of every one of our customers, so we make every effort to ensure that our fill rates are among the highest in the industry.”
A letter from GM informing Stant of the shipping award designations, stated, “Your organization has played an important role in our efforts to design, build and sell the world’s best vehicles. Your dedication and commitment to consistently perform above expectations are very much appreciated by the entire General Motors team and we want to recognize your organization for its outstanding performance.”
