Stant Appoints Kyoyul Oh, Ph.D., As Executive Vice President, Sales And Product Engineering

Dr. Oh, an industry veteran with more than two decades of global experience in the automotive sector, joins Stant after most recently serving as the senior vice president of commercial development at Gates Corp. Prior to that, he served as vice president of various segments at Gates, including: Global Automotive and Transportation Business unit; Technology; and Global Auto-OE. He also brings technological experience by way of his tenure at Lucent Technologies/OFS BrightWave.

K Oh (2016-02-08)Stant Corp. has announced the addition of Kyoyul “Kyo” Oh, Ph.D., to the position of executive vice president, sales and product engineering. In this role, Dr. Oh will lead the global sales and product engineering teams with a focus on Stant product and market growth.

Dr. Oh, an industry veteran with more than two decades of global experience in the automotive sector, joins Stant after most recently serving as the senior vice president of commercial development at Gates Corp. Prior to that, he served as vice president of various segments at Gates, including: Global Automotive and Transportation Business unit; Technology; and Global Auto-OE. He also brings technological experience by way of his tenure at Lucent Technologies/OFS BrightWave.

Dr. Oh’s wide-ranging tenure includes global experience in engineering, business and technology. He holds two international patents and his work has been published in leading technical and scientific journals. Dr. Oh holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, along with a Ph.D. in engineering science and mechanics from Virginia Tech.
