Service King To Expand In Columbus, Ohio; Partners With First Impressions Collision Inc.

Officials from both Service King and First Impressions mutually agreed upon terms of the acquisition before formally closing the deal on Monday, Feb. 1, with the merger set to take effect immediately.

Service King - LogoService King Collision Repair Centers, in continuation of its strategic national growth initiative, has announced its continued expansion in the Columbus, Ohio, market through a formal agreement to partner with First Impressions Collision Inc.

Officials from both Service King and First Impressions mutually agreed upon terms of the acquisition before formally closing the deal on Monday, Feb. 1, with the merger set to take effect immediately.

“This is a proud and long-awaited step forward for our team at First Impressions Collision,” said owner Phil Davidson “Partnering with a leading organization like Service King provides our team the resources and support to continue providing superior repair services to our customers and insurance partners throughout the Columbus community.”

With the partnership, Service King now expands its family of repair centers to three Columbus locations.

“Our team couldn’t be more proud to partner with a team like First Impressions Collision,” said Service King Market Vice President Darren DuVall. “Through this partnership, our team now provides three locations in the Columbus area to continue providing high-quality, consistent repairs with superior service. We look forward to a bright future together in Columbus.”

The First Impressions Collision facility, a member of the Ohio Auto Body Association, has the capacity to repair 150 to 200 vehicles per month.

Monday’s announcement marks Service King’s second acquisition of 2016, following its partnership with Detroit’s Autometric Collision and its roster of nine collision repair centers.
