Service King Joins Military Spouse Employment Partnership Program

The MSEP is backed by the U.S. Department of Defense and actively promotes career opportunities to military spouses.

Service King - LogoService King Collision Repair Centers, an operator of high-quality collision repair facilities, has formally signed a commitment to the Military Spouse Employment Partnership Program (MSEP).

The MSEP, backed by the U.S. Department of Defense, is a joint-partnership among leading businesses to actively connect military spouses with career opportunities.

“Service King is proud to be fully invested in providing rewarding career opportunities to military veterans and their families,” said Chris Abraham, Service King CEO. “We are honored to do our part for the brave men and women that sacrifice so much for our country. Service King has many distinguished teammates with military backgrounds and we are humbled to welcome aboard more of our nation’s heroes and their families through partnerships like this.”

The MSEP officially launched in 2011, and now boasts more than 290 active partners that collectively have resulted in the hiring of more than 75,000 military spouses. The program’s mission is to alleviate the reported 26 percent unemployment rate and 25 percent wage gap faced by military spouses nationwide.

Service King’s partnership in the MSEP comes in the midst of its recently launched Mission 2 Hire initiative, which is an active effort to hire 500 U.S. Military veterans and family members in five years. Military veterans, active duty personnel and family members interested in career opportunities with Service King are encouraged to visit the initiative’s website at www.Mission2Hire.careers.
