VIP Parts, Tires and Service is seeking qualified and interested candidates for the new position of Senior Retail Product Manager.

VIP is the leading retailer of auto parts, tires and automotive service with stores throughout Northern New England. Headquartered in Lewiston, Maine, VIP is growing market share through the implementation of a disciplined Category Management approach to Merchandising.  

As a Senior Retail Product Manager, you will have responsibility for all aspects of merchandising your categories and for achieving category growth objectives.  

Strategy implementation activities will include category planning, vendor selection, store assortment, advertising, marketing, pricing, and point-of-purchase strategies.  

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 10 years experience as a Product Manager or Category Manager in the automotive retail aftermarket.  

Experience with application/hard parts is a plus, and a strong background in negotiating and business analytics is essential.

Candidate must be customer oriented, energetic and capable of building successful business relationships.  

Must be an advanced or expert Excel user and knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office applications.
