Chicago Pneumatic, a manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket tools, accessories and compressors, has signed an agreement through parent company Atlas Copco to acquire KTS Co. SPX Sells GSE Tech-Motive Tool to Atlas Copco
SPX Corp. announced today it has completed the sale of its GSE tech-motive tool business to Atlas Copco-owned Chicago Pneumatic Tool Company. GSE tech-motive tool manufactures and distributes specialized tightening solutions for customers with critical assembly applications. Based in Novi, Mich., the business has annual revenues of approximately $25 million.
Atlas Copco Buys Chinese Air Tools Maker
Atlas Copco AB, parent company of Chicago Pneumatic, on Monday acquired the assets of Chinese air tool manufacturer Qingdao Qianshao Precision Machinery. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. As part of the acquisition, a new equity joint venture, CP Qianshao (Qingdao) Power Tools Ltd., has been formed. It will become part of Atlas Copco’s Chicago Pneumatic division, within the Industrial Technique business area.
