Rhino Linings Appoints New CEO

SAN DIEGO, CA — Rhino Linings USA, a manufacturer of sprayed-on linings for truck beds and other surfaces, has promoted Pierre Gagnon to president and chief executive officer (CEO). In this new role, Gagnon will be responsible for overseeing company operations, technical R&D, sales and marketing.

Before joining Rhino Linings USA in January 2006 as general manager and president, Gagnon was president and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors North America, responsible for Mitsubishi Motors activities in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Prior to being recruited by Mitsubishi, Gagnon was head of consumer marketing for Saturn Corp. Gagnon also spent 18 years at General Motors of Canada Ltd., providing leadership in sales, service, marketing and field operations.

A native of Timmins, Ontario, Canada, Gagnon completed his undergraduate work at the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an Honors Bachelor of Commerce. He undertook MBA graduate studies at York University and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from Laurentian University.
