Remy Names Darwin Moen As New Vice President Of Sales

In his new role, Moen is responsible for sales strategy, program development, customer relations, category management and establishing and managing key performance indicators.

Darwin Moen has joined Remy as its new vice president of sales. The appointment was announced today by Dave Nichols, president of Remy Power Products.

In his new role, Moen is responsible for sales strategy, program development, customer relations, category management and establishing and managing key performance indicators.

“We welcome Darwin to the Remy team and are pleased to have him on board as our new vice president of sales,” said Nichols. “With over 30 years of sales experience, he has the proven knowledge and expertise needed to lead our sales team and manage the initiatives that will help Remy and our customers grow their businesses together.”

Moen began his career with Maytag Co. in 1983, serving in positions including district sales manager in Chicago and Los Angeles, and regional/divisional manager in Indianapolis, before moving to the corporate headquarters in Newtown, Iowa in 2004 to serve as general manager/director market development. When Maytag was acquired by Whirlpool Corp. in 2006, Moen relocated to its headquarters in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to serve as director, key accounts – Midwestern division. In 2010, Moen became the national sales director for Lowe’s and was promoted to national sales director, key accounts in 2012.  

Moen graduated from the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing management.
