Registration Is Now Open For The Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network’s 2017 Summit

The deadline for both event and hotel registration is Aug. 10.

Registration is now open for the Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network 2017 Summit, which takes place from Sept. 9-13, at Omni Resort and Spa in Amelia Island, Florida. The deadline for both event and hotel registration is Aug. 10.

With the theme “Reading the Signs,” the organizers say the summit will feature a critical education in best practices. The keynote speaker will be Rocky Romanella, author of “Tighten the Lug Nuts: The Principles of Balanced Leadership,” speaking on “Balanced Leadership.”

One of the summit’s annual traditions is the awarding of the CVSN President’s Award. In 2017 the CVSN board of directors has chosen Robert “Pete” Joy of Phillips Industries as the recipient. This award is given out to individuals who have demonstrated dedication, leadership and achievement over the span of their career in the independent heavy-duty aftermarket.

Other key elements of the CVSN Summit are Private Strategic Planning Sessions (PSPs) between suppliers and their distributor customers, networking opportunities, an Amelia Island River Cruise, backwater fishing, a spouse program and the Tenneco Golf Challenge.
