Zack Parker, president of Redline Detection, spoke from the Equipment and Tool Institute’s annual Tool Tech meeting: “Every year, we get many times more applicants than we have internship positions available,” Parker said. “Based upon the growth of this program – and thanks to Redline’s unprecedented success this year – we are delighted to be in a position to expand our internship program.”
Redline Detection says it aims to provide meaningful opportunities to help young people enter the professional world. Redline internship opportunities are only promoted via social media and the company says the response has been enthusiastic – within the first 24 hours of posting internship opportunities on social media there were more than 100 applicants. “As the world’s leader in diagnostic leak detection, we want to inspire other manufacturers to join us in helping young people to get a good start in their careers,” said Parker. “We are working to onboard the best and the brightest young people to our industry.”
The company is known for manufacturing smoke machines for automotive use, including Smoke Pro, as well as new high-pressure diagnostic leak detection equipment for boosted vehicles and heavy-duty applications, globally mandated in 112 countries, called PowerSmoke PRO.
