RealTruck.com has announced that Josh Deltener has been appointed to director of information technology, filling a void left when RealTruck’s previous chief technology officer (CTO) was promoted to vice president. Effective since Jan. 1, Deltener’s new position involves oversight of RealTruck’s system administration, help desk and Web development teams.
Originally hired in 2011, Deltener has since been a senior level five Web developer with RealTruck. This is the highest level possible.
“Josh has long been a dedicated member of the RealTruck family, serving a critical role in a myriad of areas from systems administration and architecture, to senior level development on our code base,” said CTO Justin Deltener. “He has always been the kind of person to lead critical discussions with transparency, a focus on improvement and attention to detail. We look forward to his continued growth and leadership in his new role as we continue to raise the standard on how information technology can deliver value to our customers, vendors and RealTruck at large.”
Deltener commented that he is quite eager to jump into his new role and contribute to RealTruck’s continued growth. “I am committed to leading our team during this exceptional time of growth,” he said. “With all the growth we are experiencing, I anticipate many challenges. But, I am lucky to work with such a talented staff that will help overcome them.”
