RealTruck.com Announces 4th Annual Vendor Awards

RealTruck.com has announced its 2016 Vendor Awards series is open for nominations, and has invited all vendor partners to submit their brand names for consideration.

The Vendor Awards series was created in 2013 to honor companies that produce superior products and demonstrate a commitment to excellence. While RealTruck says it is fortunate to partner with a number of vendors that strive for and exemplify excellence, the award series aims to highlight companies that stood out between Sept. 1, 2015 and Aug. 31, 2016.

Vendor Awards are given to RealTruck partners that shine in a specific category, including: Rookie of the Year, Customer Service, Data Geek and Vendor of the Year.

One winner and four runners-up will be chosen per category. Prizes include:

A 2016 RealTruck Vendor Awards trophy
A high-resolution graphic of the RealTruck Vendor Awards logo for use at company’s discretion
A high-resolution graphic of the RealTruck Vendor Awards logo applied to the company’s brand and product-line page banners on the RealTruck.com website
Lapel pins with the RealTruck Vendor Awards logo
Mention on RealTruck.com website and in press releases

Companies must submit an application via the 2016 Vendor Awards page in order to be considered, unless told otherwise. Submissions are due Sept. 13. Finalists will be announced on Oct. 18, and winners will be revealed on Nov. 1.

Federated Auto Parts Distributors announced it is entering into a collaboration with the Association of Independent Oil Distributors (AIOD) – one it said will focus on mutual benefits for the respective members.

“Federated is constantly looking at ways to improve value for all constituents and this agreement provides that,” said Sue Godschalk, president of Federated. “This collaboration provides added volume and opportunities for our suppliers, new partners for our members, and added supply points and products for shop customers. We have enjoyed working closely with several AIOD members in the past and this agreement will expand and create further opportunities for both Federated and AIOD.”
