Basic Functions
Process Bosch’s Automotive Aftermarket (AA) product release project and vehicle and equipment data into the AA Marketing Data Warehouse.
Principal Responsibilities
Coordinate Technical issues related to serviceability of assemblies, engineering changes and production transfers. Set up new parts and programs. Review project list and data bases. Coordinate work packages while monitoring and adhering to due dates. Collect technical information and communicate with customers and suppliers. Some business travel required. IN addition, this role will support Product Managers in the Engine Management group.
Scope Factors
Objective of making MDW and PaGOS systems of record for AA-NA data is to avoid multiple entry of data into separate systems. The use of MDW as system of record for AA-NA data will result in increased inter-regional sales. Complete and accurate AA-NA master data in KP1 and cross reference table are the basis for a successful Parts & Bytes strategy. Inaccurate or untimely completion of projects may result in loss of product line business. Ability to function in an international setting and work with colleagues from a variety of cultures.
Job Requirements
Required
• BA/BS degree in Automotive Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required
• 3-5 years experience with data analysis
• Excellent research, analytical, and data entry skills
• Proficiency in Excel & Access
• Strong technical understanding of automotive products and their applications
• Strong interpersonal, writing, and verbal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Willingness to travel
Preferred
• Project Management knowledge
• Desire to become a Product Manager in the future
• Knowledge of automotive engine management
• Background in automotive manufacturing/engineering/technology
• Parts manufacturing experience
