Plex, a designer of Cloud ERP for manufacturing, announced the 2015 Plex Impact Awards recipients: American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM), FloraCraft and Accuride Corp. The annual awards honor manufacturers for industry leadership, innovation and transformation.
Plex announced the winners at PowerPlex 2015, the company’s annual customer event that brings together manufacturing leaders to share best practices in cloud computing and manufacturing technologies.
AAM was recognized for leadership, guiding the automotive industry into the cloud. AAM implemented a new Cloud ERP system across seven facilities to automate all operations in AAM’s metal-forming unit. FloraCraft was recognized for innovation. The company revolutionized its business by capturing production data instantly to help guide decision making, meet changing demand and ensure on-time, accurate shipments. Accuride was recognized for transformation. The company received this award for modernizing its information and manufacturing execution systems across six of its nine operations. With Plex, Accuride increased productivity, automated processes, integrated workflows and achieved greater visibility across the organization, according to the company.
