From Tire Review
Pirelli and Brazilian family Faria da Silva have reached an agreement for the purchase of a 60 percent stake in Campneus, one of Brazil’s leading tire distribution chains, for around 54 million reais (about 22.5 million euros).
The deal may be adjusted based on the company’s financial position at the closing date. With this operation, Pirelli said it aims to consolidate its leadership in the Brazilian market, both in retail and wholesale distribution, focusing on the faster-growing areas of the premium segment and increasing its points of sale (Pirelli Pneuac) from 48 to 102.
