Permatex Kicks Off the Right Stuff Got A Minute? Giveaway Promotion

The Right Stuff Gasket Maker line makes an instant, form-in-place gasket that requires no curing time and allows parts to be put back in service immediately.

HARTFORD, Conn. – Permatex has launched an online promotion for its gasketing product, the Right Stuff 1 Minute Gasket Maker, featuring a new video and customer sweepstakes. Called, the Right Stuff Got A Minute? Giveaway, the promotion is designed to showcase both the remarkable speed of the Right Stuff 1 Minute Gasket Maker and its ability to put parts back in service without the need for curing time.

Permatex the Right Stuff Gasket Maker is an instant, form-in-place gasket maker that requires no curing time and allows parts to be put back in service immediately. It is designed to prevent blowouts and protect against leaks from vibration and thermal expansion. Permatex the Right Stuff Gasket Maker features a sensor-safe, elastomeric rubber gasket technology that incorporates the same proven formulation as specified on OE production lines by GM, Ford, Chrysler and Mercedes-Benz, the company says. It also resists ATF, coolant, oil and other shop fluids.

The Permatex online promotion gives both technicians and DIYers a chance to view Permatex’s new “Manic Mechanics Face Off” video and win a Permatex Prize Package. The new video dramatizes the performance and value of the 1 Minute Gasket Maker in a humorous, head-to-head competition between two real life automotive technicians. Permatex’s the Right Stuff Got A Minute? Giveaway promotion started May 14 and ends June 8.

According to Diane Phelan, director of marketing, entering the sweepstakes is as easy as using the product.

“We’ve streamlined the promotional entry so that in the time it takes the Right Stuff 1 Minute Gasket Maker to work, anyone can enter to win a prize in the sweepstakes," Phelan said. "Prizes will be awarded on a weekly basis throughout the promotion.”

There are two ways to participate. Contestants can watch the “Manic Mechanics Face Off” video on the Right Stuff brand page or on the Permatex Facebook page, and then enter the sweepstakes. Contestants can enter twice, once on each site. Contestants using Facebook to enter must “like” the Permatex Facebook page in order to access the specially created the Right Stuff Got A Minute? Giveaway app.

The Permatex Prize Package includes one Permatex 2-gallon bucket containing one Permatex Viscose 20"x27” Shammy, one pair of Permatex Mechanics Gloves (Lg), one 3 oz. the Right Stuff Gasket Maker, one Permatex Safer Scraper, one Permatex Threadlocker Multipack Assortment 3-0.5 ml pipettes, one 7.5 oz.
