The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance concluded its annual Summer Shareholder Meeting on June 6, in Phoenix. The four-day event included committee and board meetings, panel discussions, roundtable breakouts and a channel partner mixer along with receptions and networking opportunities.
More than 100 golfers, including members and vendor partners of the Automotive Parts Services Group, shared a round of golf and helped raise more than $350,000 for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign. The Group’s Toys for Tots Golf Tournament was held at the Cowboys Country Club in Grapevine, Texas.
Keeping with the charitable theme, Gates Corp. posed for a photo, proudly announcing its donation of $134,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities. Gates presented the donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities team at their local Denver chapter on Tuesday, June 19.
AASA’s Overseas Automotive Council board of directors shared in another beloved summer pastime, enjoying a Washington Nationals game during its recent meeting in the nation’s capital.
Stant Corp. is continuing its trek around the globe to celebrate its 120thanniversary, this time stopping in San Miguel, Mexico.
Mitchell 1 also celebrated a milestone, at the ripe old age of 100, the company is still feeling groovy (you’ll see!).
