The Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide has created a new poster promoting professional mobile air conditioning service and repair as a responsible practice for preserving the stratospheric ozone layer and climate. The 17” x 22” poster features penguins adrift at sea on a shrinking ice floe. The poster, produced with the cooperation of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) delivers the message, “Don’t just go with the floe…Help protect the stratospheric ozone layer and climate. Have your vehicle’s air conditioning serviced by qualified technicians who will replace broken parts and repair leaks using the proper tools and equipment.”

MACS Distributes 40,000 Educational Brochures on Professional Mobile A/C Service and Repair

Since introducing its new Professional A/C Service and Repair educational brochure last year, the Mobile Air Conditioning Society Worldwide (MACS) said it has distributed 40,000 copies of the brochure. The result of a collaboration of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and MACS, the brochure has been distributed through MACS member shops, association and corporate partners and through individual inquiries generated by media reports.
