RICHFIELD, OH — For its Wednesday evening open house event, OEConnection slightly modified its company motto of “Right Part, Right Place, Right Time” to include “New Place” — a reference to the company’s brand new 50,000-square-foot building in northeastern Ohio.

The company moved into the new building in phases, starting in April. In total, the facility has the capacity to house 180 associates. A planned expansion will provide office space for another 55 employees. Currently, there are approximately 170 associates, contractors and interns in the new building.

OEConnection, which began operations in late 2000 with 15 employees, provides web-based technology for automakers, their affiliated dealers and others in the automotive parts business. Serving more than 15,000 dealerships, collision repairer, fleet and repair shops, OEConnection provides e-commerce parts exchange and analysis tools that enable users to market, manage and sell their original equipment parts inventories. According to company President and CEO Charles Rotuno, OEConnection facilitates an estimated $8 billion in annual parts trade.
