OBITUARY: Cliff Friedrich, Auto 7 Regional Sales Manager

MIAMI – Cliff Friedrich, Auto 7 regional sales manager, passed away Dec. 19, after suffering a massive stroke on Dec. 16.

In sharing the news of his passing, Steve Kruss, president of Auto 7, wrote:

“If you knew Cliff, you knew his joy, his laugh, his smile, his character. He always put others ahead of himself. His faithful generosity and loving heart supported many organizations for orphans, animals in need and other worthy causes.

“Spending over 10 years with him, the team at Auto 7 knew him as family. Cliff wasn’t a quiet guy. You’d hear him once he came in the door. He often walked from desk to desk cracking one joke after another. Cliff was in charge of Auto 7 birthday celebrations and never missed one. He enjoyed bringing his co-workers out to lunch and making each individual at Auto 7 feel appreciated.

“As Regional Sales Manager, Cliff spent almost half his time traveling. Andy Swope, Auto 7 regional sales manager, and Joe Sotolongo, Precise brand manager, both spent many days on the road with him. Both Andy and Joe have countless memories from these times. Cliff truly enjoyed visiting and interacting with Auto 7 and Precise customers.

“Cliff took on the role of uncle for so many. My daughters called him Uncle Cliff and chose special seashells on vacation just for him. My nephew, Adam, also regarded Cliff as an uncle and the two maintained a tight bond.

“We will all miss him being in our lives. … Although we’re sad, we’ll recycle his jokes around the office for years to come and we’ll remember his joy and follow his example to live life to the fullest.”
