NTN Promotes Ed Magruder To Director Of Aftermarket Sales, Automotive

In his new position, Magruder (pictured) will oversee all sales efforts supporting NTN's automotive aftermarket business unit. NTN also announced the promotion of Thomas Evans to the position of Eastern regional sales manager and the hiring of Cory Cheever to serve as the Western regional sales manager.

NTN, the parent company of BCA Bearings, has announced the promotion of Ed Magruder to director of aftermarket sales, automotive. Magruder will lead a reorganized sales organization and report directly to Paul Johnson, NTN USA executive vice president of sales and marketing.

ntn-ed-magruderIn his new position, Magruder will oversee all sales efforts supporting NTN’s automotive aftermarket business unit, including the BCA wheel bearing line and Bower heavy-duty products.

“Ed’s vast market experience will allow him to successfully lead our burgeoning aftermarket sales team,” said Johnson. “His demonstrated leadership and success in multiple sales organizations will help us to continue to grow our automotive business unit.”

Magruder joined NTN in 2013 after spending more than 15 years at Navistar in a variety of sales and business development leadership positions. He also previously held leadership roles at a variety of companies, including Bally Manufacturing and Chicago Pacific Corp.

NTN also announced the promotion of industry veteran Thomas Evans to the position of Eastern regional sales manager. Prior to starting with NTN in 2013, Evans held sales management roles at CRS Automotive, KYB and KEM Manufacturing.

Magruder also announced the hiring of Cory Cheever to serve as the Western regional sales manager. Cheever brings a host of industry experience to NTN, having served in sales management roles at Dana Automotive Aftermarket, Affinia, Fras-le and ZF/TRW.

“Thomas and Cory are a fantastic pairing to lead our regional sales teams,” said Magruder. “Their combined experience totals more than 50 years in the aftermarket, and their deep industry knowledge will help us continue to grow the BCA and Bower brands.”
