  • The purpose of the Auto Care Association’s standing committees is to work with the Auto Care Association board and staff, as well as to act as an industry sounding board for issues pertaining to the association.
  • Committees meet twice each year at the Spring and Fall Leadership Days for association planning purposes. Additional meetings via phone or in-person may be required depending on the committee and its goals. Each year committee rosters are reviewed and candidates are selected by the Auto Care Association’s chairman of the board with input from the president, committee chair and staff liaisons.
  • New member volunteers are assigned to a committee for a term of three calendar years. At the option and discretion of the liaison and committee leadership, a member volunteer may be renewed for a second three-year term on the committee subject to approval by the president and the chairman of the board. No volunteer member may serve more than six consecutive years on the same committee.
