NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) Inc. has expanded its aftermarket executive management and sales teams. In addition to the previous announcement of David Boer to vice president of marketing, NGK has appointed Brian Norko to vice president of aftermarket sales. Boer and Norko will ensure a unified division of marketing and sales under the direction of Mike Schwab, senior vice president of aftermarket sales and marketing.

The executive positions were announced in conjunction with the merging of NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) Inc. and Wells Vehicle Electronics sales teams, which began Jan. 1. The new leadership will unify one aftermarket sales force for the Wells, NGK Spark Plugs and NTK Oxygen Sensor product lines.

“Both Brian and David’s combined experience in leading marketing and sales efforts will lend a hand to continued success as NGK Spark Plugs and Wells Vehicle Electronics come together as one team,” said Schwab. “As the vice president of marketing, David will oversee all marketing, product and business intelligence functions for the combined businesses. His leadership will help solidify NGK and Wells as industry specialists in the ignition and electronics categories. Brian’s experience will be a great advantage for NGK as we merge the NGK and Wells sales teams. As the new vice president of sales, he will oversee all sales and business development efforts.”

Norko joins NGK from Federal-Mogul Corp., where he was responsible for global aftermarket wiper business as the global director of business and product development. Through his 25 years in the aftermarket industry, Norko has worked for many aftermarket companies and held several positions in sales and business development. He also has held positions in multiple industry associates and is currently a part of the Automotive Sales Council. Norko earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Aquinas College.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in marketing degree from Kutztown University, and a Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University.
