Arch Auto Parts, a leading aftermarket auto parts supplier in Brooklyn, Queens and Nassau County, New York, announced completion of some major renovations and rebranding at its facilities in Hollis, New York. The company said it was important for the outside of the building to accurately reflect that this location is much more than a busy parts store with long lines on Saturday mornings, as it also houses the company’s corporate headquarters, parts warehouse and is the busiest of its 12 stores.
Renovations including newly resurfaced and painted walls and new signage on the Arch Auto Parts property that stretches the length of this block increase the company’s visibility and profile from the street. The original decorative brick border on the second floor of Arch Auto Parts corporate headquarters was preserved as a salute to the strong history Arch has enjoyed serving three generations of top mechanics, service pros and retail car parts shoppers in Queens, Brooklyn and Long Island.
From this large, local warehouse in central Queens and another Brooklyn warehouse, Arch Auto Parts refreshes inventories at all 12 stores multiple times each day. Customers typically find even unusual parts can be quickly delivered to their closest Arch Auto Parts store in less than two hours.
While loyal returning customers comprise the bulk of the customer base, Arch Auto Parts wants more retail customers to know about the high-value parts and deep savings Arch provides. In order to attract new customers, the outside of the store needed to better convey that this is a local auto parts store with a deep inventory of parts.
“Top-rated repair shops all know this is the place for OE-quality parts, but we wanted it to be obvious from the street,” said Chris Bodh, CEO of Arch Auto Parts. “We wanted the outside to reflect what you get on the inside: Over 50,000 OE-quality parts and low prices. NY-Fast!”
As a local landmark, Arch Auto Parts says it has built its reputation on personal relationships. Owner and CEO Bodh is well-known for frequently working the counter, dealing directly with customers. He believes there should never be a sharp divide between the corporate office and the store. “I spend as much time as I can in the stores because I want to understand exactly what customers want, which brands are most valuable to them and why, and make sure the right parts are always quickly available. Our Arch warehouse team works just as hard as our store staff and corporate staff to keep making our stores better every day.”
In keeping with these values, the corporate office, warehouse, and retail store now all have consistent coloring and signage, reflecting one unified company. In addition to selling aftermarket parts, this Arch Auto Parts location also provides many custom services, including key copy service for chip car keys and transponder fobs; TPMS sensor programming, cloning and relearning; battery testing and charging; custom fabrication of hydraulic hoses; pressing wheel hubs, bearings, ball joints and U-joints; and compressing struts.
