MIRAMAR, Fla. – Auto 7 Inc. has named Patrick Sommerfeld, formerly global sales director at Wells Vehicle Electronics, as the company’s new vice president of sales.

Sommerfeld has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket. He will report directly to Auto 7 President Steven Kruss and will oversee all sales for Auto 7, which offers a world-class catalog with more than 78,000 applications and represents one of the fastest-growing fleets in North America – Korean-made cars like Hyundai and KIA.

“We’re excited to welcome Pat to the Auto 7 team,” Kruss said. “With his knowledge, experience and reputation, we’re confident he will be the perfect fit for our Auto 7 culture and our progressive vision for the future.”

Prior to his new position with Auto 7, Sommerfeld spent eight years at Wells Vehicle Electronics, where he rose through the ranks to his latest position as global sales director. He managed Wells Vehicle Electronics sales, helping significantly increase the company’s customer base. Earlier in his career, he spent eight years in sales and marketing management at The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., and also spent six years as a firefighter.

“I will always be linked in some way to the great companies that I have had the chance to ‘grow up in,’ and the opportunities they afforded me gave me a solid foundation for my new position with Auto 7,” said Sommerfeld. “I’m excited to be working for a customer-focused, family-owned business that is so dedicated to their customers’ satisfaction.”
