SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Dean Thebeau has joined SSF Imported Auto Parts as vice president of sales. Thebeau has taken over responsibility for all sales channels for the European import specialist WD. Thebeau spent the past 10 years with industrial supply distributor MSC, building its West Coast sales organization and national accounts business. Prior to that, he worked for Home Depot Supply and automotive manufacturer Cooper Industries. SSF says that Thebeau’s main focus, in addition to SSF’s core installer business, will be the fast-growing distribution and e-tailing side of the business.
In addition to Thebeau’s appointment, SSF has named Allan Yap as manager of distribution sales. Yap is taking over responsibility for SSF’s sales activities with WDs and jobbers in the U.S. and abroad. Yap has extensive experience in the European import parts distribution as the long-term owner and president of ETY Parts in North Hollywood, Calif. His focus will be on expanding SSF’s strategic distribution partnerships.
