NASTF Spring 2014 General Meeting Joining ATE Seattle

NASTF and the Automotive Service Association Northwest (ASA Northwest) have announced that the NASTF Spring 2014 General Meeting is set to precede the Automotive Training Expo (ATE) on the afternoon of Thursday, March 20, 2014, near the Seattle-Tacoma airport in Washington State.

ST. JOHNS, Fla. – NASTF and the Automotive Service Association Northwest (ASA Northwest) have announced that the NASTF Spring 2014 General Meeting is set to precede the Automotive Training Expo (ATE) on the afternoon of Thursday, March 20, 2014, near the Seattle-Tacoma airport in Washington State.

“The NASTF Board of Directors was very excited to accept the invitation from ASA Northwest, the event producer of ATE, to bring our Spring 2014 General Meeting to technicians in the Northwestern U.S.,” said Skip Potter, NASTF executive director. “NASTF wants to be where the techs are; and ATE is a perfect opportunity for us.”

“ASA Northwest is looking forward to supporting NASTF at the 2014 Automotive Training Expo (ATE). ATE is the West Coast’s largest automotive training venue, being held March 21-23, 2014, at the Doubletree Hilton Seattle Airport. We had almost 900 industry professionals at ATE 2013 with a record number of shop owners, managers, service advisers, technicians and auto instructors from high schools and colleges who attended three days of management and technical training,” said Jeff Lovell, president/executive director of ASA Northwest, the event producer. Additional details can be found at www.atetrainingexpo.com.

NASTF General Meetings provide a rare opportunity for aftermarket technicians and shop owners to interact directly with key service operations managers employed by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) automakers. The NASTF General Meeting Planning Committee expects to release the Spring 2014 agenda and registration information in December. The event is scheduled for 1-4:30 p.m. (Pacific), Thursday, March 20, in the Doubletree Hotel Seattle Airport.

The NASTF Fall 2013 General Meeting will be held 1-4:30 p.m. (Pacific), Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, during AAPEX/SEMA in Las Vegas. Information for this event is available at www.nastf.org.
