Mighty Auto Parts Announces Franchise Of The Year

Mighty Auto Parts, a franchisor of sales and services in aftermarket auto parts, has announced its Franchise of the Year, Mighty Pacific. Gary Schuler, Dick Hannah Dealerships corporate director of fixed operations, and Corey Akins, director of Mighty Pacific, as well as team members Reuben Wagner and Dave Blair, accepted the award during Mighty’s national sales meeting in Coronado, California.

“The slate of five Franchise of the Year nominees was incredibly strong, so winning the award this year is particularly noteworthy,” said Ken Voelker, Mighty’s president and CEO. “It is my pleasure to congratulate the entire Mighty Pacific team on their well-deserved Franchise of the Year award.”

Mighty Pacific is a division of Hannah Motor Co. (Dick Hannah Dealerships), a family-owned and operated dealership group with stores throughout the Greater Portland, Oregon, area. They added a Mighty Auto Parts franchise to their portfolio of companies in 2010 to supply Mighty’s OE-quality preventive maintenance products to Dick Hannah dealerships, as well as outside automotive service providers.

Voelker continued, “The Mighty Pacific team continues to set a sterling example of successful Mighty franchise integration into a car dealership operation. Their hard work and dedication are demonstrated by their outstanding performance in 2015. This is the third nomination and first win of Franchise of the Year, for Mighty Pacific, in what is only their first five years in business. ”

Federated Auto Parts Distributors announced it is entering into a collaboration with the Association of Independent Oil Distributors (AIOD) – one it said will focus on mutual benefits for the respective members.

“Federated is constantly looking at ways to improve value for all constituents and this agreement provides that,” said Sue Godschalk, president of Federated. “This collaboration provides added volume and opportunities for our suppliers, new partners for our members, and added supply points and products for shop customers. We have enjoyed working closely with several AIOD members in the past and this agreement will expand and create further opportunities for both Federated and AIOD.”
