MERA Celebrates 100 Members As Nexteer Joins Association

MERA represents a growing network of remanufacturers, suppliers and professional services firms operating in the automotive and heavy-duty, off-road (HDOR) sectors to promote the environmental, economic and product performance benefits of remanufactured goods.

DETROIT – The Motor & Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA) welcomes Nexteer Automotive as its newest supplier member and 100th member company.
 
“MERA was launched as a new division of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) in 2011 to advance the remanufacturing industry and the business interests of our members,” said John Chalifoux, president and COO, MERA. “Reaching 100 member companies is an important milestone, and we look forward to working with Nexteer and all of our member companies to continue to raise the awareness and acceptance of remanufactured products.”
 
MERA represents a growing network of remanufacturers, suppliers and professional services firms operating in the automotive and heavy-duty, off-road (HDOR) sectors to promote the environmental, economic and product performance benefits of remanufactured goods.
 
The association says it plans to continue to enhance its value proposition for current and prospective members in 2014 through continuous improvement of its peer group forums and events.
