MEMA Financial Services Group Offers Educational Seminar

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK , N.C. The Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association Financial Services Group (MFSG) will hold its 12th annual Educational Seminar on Wednesday, May 14 at the Crowne Plaza in Romulus, Mich.

The seminar is a member benefit and is open to all MFSG subscribers and members of MEMA’s three market segment associations, AASA, HDMA and OESA. The seminar begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. , with lunch provided.

"Through its annual educational seminar, MFSG strives to bring credit and financial executives relevant and interesting information to help them make an informed credit decision," said Dan Pike, general manager of MFSG. "With the tough economic situation facing the automotive industry, we felt it was especially timely to share with attendees tools they can use to lower their credit risk and increase their bottom line," he added.

Session topics include:

  • Financial tools by JP Morgan
  • Deduction management and other collection tools by Cforia Software
  • Overview of the original equipment industry by OESA
  • Overview of the aftermarket by AASA
