CAWA has announced that Malcolm Sissmore of Delphi Products & Service Solutions will keynote the association’s 2016 Gala Dinner to “kick off” Industry Week in Las Vegas next month. The gala will be held on Sunday evening, Oct. 30, at Caesar’s Palace.
“CAWA has made a commitment to educating the auto care industry regarding technological advances, particularly telematics, and Mr. Sissmore is an expert in this area and delivers an informative presentation that people should hear,” said Greg Livingston, chair of the CAWA board of directors. “With individuals of his caliber, our annual event will once again be successful and significant funds will be raised for our scholarship program.”
All proceeds from the event, which is exclusively sponsored by Motorcar Parts of America, will benefit the CAWA Memorial Scholarship Fund, which promotes quality and high standards through education within the auto care industry. The scholarship is awarded to students in a curriculum leading to a degree or certificate in an accredited college, university or technical institute.
