MAHLE Service Solutions, a division of MAHLE Aftermarket, has developed a diagnostic tool to make the job of servicing today’s computer-controlled engines easier and more efficient. MAHLE’s TechPRO is a versatile Cloud-, PC- or tablet-enabled device designed to help service technicians analyze, diagnose and repair sophisticated powertrains faster and more accurately, according to Scott Bolt, chief engineer for MAHLE test systems.
Bolt noted that TechPRO technology is based on years of MAHLE’s R&D that has gone into the creation of an advanced diagnostic tool for direct use by the company’s OEM customers. MAHLE now has adapted that same technology for use in dealership service departments and independent garages.
“Our experience as both a major supplier and creative partner to the world’s major auto manufacturers will allow us to deploy TechPRO to the dealership networks on a global basis,” Bolt added.
