MAHLE Solidifies North American Headquarters Operations in Farmington Hills, Mich.

MAHLE Industries Inc. has completed the acquisition of the former Nailco facility located in Farmington Hills. This facility provides the company with an additional 50,000 square feet of office space, along with warehouse space that could be used for future growth.

FARMINGTON HILLS – With the acquisition of a facility adjacent to its existing operations, MAHLE has announced it will further consolidate its corporate activities in Farmington Hills, Mich.
 
MAHLE Industries Inc. has completed the acquisition of the former Nailco facility located in Farmington Hills. This facility provides the company with an additional 50,000 square feet of office space, along with warehouse space that could be used for future growth.
 
Combined with existing operations located on the same road, the company will consolidate its North American central functions on one campus. Operations presently located in Novi, Mich., will be relocated to Farmington Hills. This includes the Test Systems and Engineering Services business of MAHLE Powertrain LLC. Upon completion of relocations by the beginning of 2013, there will more than 350 employees on the Farmington Hills campus.

"This move not only allows us to consolidate Sales, Accounting, Finance, Legal, Human Resources and IT functions on one campus, but it also demonstrates MAHLE’s commitment to the state of Michigan and the automotive industry."
 
MAHLE Industries is a subsidiary of the MAHLE Group, and is the holding company for all North American entities and is responsible for all corporate functions in the region.
