From Tire Review
Midas stores across the U.S. will soon have access to Kumho brand tires thanks to a new deal between the service retailer and Kumho Tire USA Inc.
The new “partnership program” reportedly gives rebates to Midas stores purchasing Kumho tires, and tire distributors will get a 1 percent credit for administering the program.
For their part, Midas locations must purchase at least 100 Kumho-brand tires from their designated distributor during a calendar year in order to get a 3 percent rebate from Kumho.
Distributors will get another 1 percent credit for Kumho tires sold by each Midas shop it enrolls that meets the 100-tire minimum and becomes eligible for the Kumho rebate.
Midas has a tire supply deal with Bridgestone Americas.
Midas has some 1,600 stores in the U.S. and Canada, but this program reportedly only applies to U.S. locations.
