KOI Auto Parts Joins VIPAR Heavy Duty

New Cincinnati-based stockholder serves heavy-duty customers in Ohio and Kentucky.

CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. – VIPAR Heavy Duty has announced that KOI Auto Parts in Cincinnati, Ohio, is the newest stockholder to join the organization’s network of distributors. Led by President David Wesselman, KOI serves the heavy-duty market from two warehouses in Cincinnati and from three additional warehouses in Dayton, Ohio, and Lexington and Newport, Ky.
 
In addition, KOI is a leading automotive parts provider, with 75 locations in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia. KOI’s business serves professional repair garages, collision centers, dealerships, municipalities, fleets and retail customers.
 
"KOI is known for its world-class customer service. Over the past several years, as the heavy-duty aftermarket distribution channel shifted in Cincinnati, KOI recognized the opportunity to expand its heavy-duty product offering,” said Jim Pennig, vice president, business development, VIPAR Heavy Duty. "KOI currently services the city fleets of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Covington, Ky., and has targeted numerous locations in its service network identified as excellent truck parts growth opportunities."
