ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. The board of directors of the Automotive Maintenance & Repair Association (AMRA) announced that Joseph Henmueller will serve as president of AMRA, effective Aug. 5.
Henmueller had been serving as interim president since June, following the departure of previous AMRA President Barry Soltz.
"The board of directors is pleased with Joe’s performance and dedication to the AMRA members," said Lynn Parker, chairman. "AMRA is dedicated to strengthening the relationship between the motorist and the automotive service and repair industry, through education of the motorist and service provider by providing industry standards. Joe’s industry experience and leadership gives AMRA the foundation to grow and support our members."
