ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. The Board of Directors of the Automotive Maintenance & Repair Association (AMRA) announced that Joe Henmueller will serve as interim president of AMRA.
Henmueller will take over the responsibilities from Barry Soltz, AMRA’s president for the past six years. The board of directors thanked Soltz for his service and dedication to the association during his tenure and wishes him great success in his future endeavors.
“Mr. Henmueller has deep ties to the automotive service industry and is a recognized leader in the automotive aftermarket,” said Lynn Parker, chairman. “He has a long-standing commitment to the association, having served on the AMRA Board of Directors; as co-chair of the AMRA/MAP Technical Committee and most recently as AMRA’s director of administration. We are glad he has accepted this important leadership role.”
Parker said that a permanent replacement, upon full approval of the AMRA board of directors, will be announced soon.
